1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Movelixx Packers & Movers. By accessing our website or booking our packing, moving, transportation, or warehousing services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before availing of our services.
2. Quotations and Pricing
Estimates
All quotes provided via phone, email, or our website are estimates based on the inventory details and distance provided by the customer.
Final Pricing
The final moving cost may vary if there is a significant change in the volume of goods, the distance, or if additional services are required on the moving day.
Validity
Quotations are generally valid for [Insert Number, e.g., 15] days from the date of issue.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth relocation process, the customer agrees to the following:
- Valuables: Customers must personally carry high-value items such as cash, jewelry, laptops, mobile phones, important documents, and keys. Movelixx is not liable for the loss of such items.
- Permissions: It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain necessary gate passes, parking permissions, and elevator usage approvals from society or building management at both origin and destination.
- Presence: The customer or an authorized representative must be present during the entire packing, loading, and unloading process to sign the inventory and condition reports.
4. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, Movelixx will not pack or transport the following items:
Flammable Materials
LPG cylinders, firecrackers, paint thinner, gases, or explosives.
Hazardous Chemicals
Corrosive or other dangerous chemical substances.
Illegal Items
Illegal substances, contraband, or prohibited goods.
Restricted Living Items
Perishable food, live plants, pets, and live animals unless specially agreed.
5. Payment Terms
- Advance Payment: A token advance payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking and block your moving date.
- Final Settlement: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the final unloading of goods at the destination, unless corporate credit terms have been pre-approved.
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards, and cash.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Customer: If you cancel your booking at least [Insert Number, e.g., 48] hours before the scheduled packing date, your advance payment will be fully refunded.
- Cancellations made within [Insert Number, e.g., 24] hours may incur a cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your move without penalty, subject to the availability of our dates and fleet.
7. Insurance and Liability
Transit Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing Transit Insurance to protect your goods against road accidents, natural disasters, or transit damages.
Uninsured Goods
If transit insurance is not purchased, Movelixx’s liability for any damage or loss will be limited to a maximum of ₹2,000.
Claim Process
Claims for damages must be reported in writing within 48 hours of final delivery with photographs and the original inventory list.
8. Delays and Force Majeure
Movelixx strives to deliver all consignments on schedule. However, we are not liable for transit delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters.
- Highway accidents, road closures, or heavy traffic congestion.
- Political strikes, bandhs, or border checkpoint delays.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
