General Queries
You can book by calling our toll-free number, filling out the 'Get a Quote' form on our website, or reaching out via WhatsApp. We will schedule a free pre-move survey to understand your requirements before confirming the booking.
We recommend booking at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance for inter-state moves, and 3 to 5 days for local moves. However, we also accommodate urgent, last-minute moves depending on fleet availability.

Pricing & Payment
The cost depends on several factors: the volume of goods, the distance between origin and destination, the type of vehicle required, the floor level (and availability of elevators), and the amount of packing material needed.
No. Movelixx prides itself on 100% transparency. Our final quotation includes labor, transportation, packing materials, and taxes. We do not demand "tips" or sudden toll charges on the moving day.
Yes, a nominal token advance (usually 10% to 20%) is required to confirm your booking date and allocate a dedicated vehicle and crew for you.
We accept all major payment methods including NEFT/RTGS Bank Transfers, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit/Debit Cards, and Cash.
If you cancel your move up to 48 hours before the scheduled packing date, your advance is fully refunded. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a small cancellation fee.
We provide detailed, itemized quotes. GST is clearly mentioned. For transport services, GST is typically 5%, and for full packing-moving services, it may be 18%.
Packing & Unpacking
No, our full-service move includes complete packing of your entire household. However, we strictly request that you pack and personally carry high-value items like jewelry, cash, laptops, and important legal documents.
We use premium, industry-grade materials including 3-layer bubble wrap, edge-protectors for furniture, corrugated rolls, custom heavy-duty cartons, and waterproof stretch film.
Fragile items receive multi-layer protection. TVs are packed in specialized anti-static wrap and padded boxes. Glass table tops and large delicate artifacts are packed using custom-built wooden crates for maximum safety.
We dismantle and reassemble standard furniture like beds, dining tables, and wardrobes. However, for electronic appliances like ACs, Geysers, and Wall-mounted TVs, you will need to arrange a specialized technician, or we can arrange one for an additional fee.
We provide specially designed 'Wardrobe Cartons' equipped with hanger rods. This allows your formal wear, suits, and expensive dresses to be transported upright without getting wrinkled or folded.
Yes. As part of our standard service, we will unload all items, set up heavy furniture in your desired rooms, unpack the major cartons, and remove all empty packing debris from your new home.
Transit & Tracking
Local moves are completed within a single day. For inter-state moves, transit time depends on the distance and highway conditions. A move from Delhi to Mumbai typically takes 3 to 5 days. Your Move Manager will provide an exact timeline.
Yes. All our long-haul carriers are GPS-enabled. You will receive a tracking link, and your dedicated Move Manager will provide you with daily status updates regarding the location of your goods.
If you book a 'Dedicated Vehicle', your goods stay in the same locked truck from your old door to your new door. If you opt for 'Shared/Part-Load' to save costs, goods may be consolidated at our secure transit hubs.
We can transport plants during local, same-day shifting. However, for long-distance inter-state moves inside closed, dark containers, plants generally do not survive, so we advise against it.
Moving trucks are not safe environments for animals. While we do not move pets in our cargo trucks, we can connect you with specialized, humane pet-relocation partners.
For safety and insurance reasons, passengers (customers) are not legally permitted to travel inside commercial goods carrier vehicles.
Insurance & Safety
While not legally mandatory, we highly recommend purchasing transit insurance (usually 3% of the declared value). It protects you financially against unforeseen highway accidents, riots, or natural disasters.
We boast a 99% damage-free track record. However, if damage occurs, you must note it on the final delivery receipt. Our claims department will guide you through a swift reimbursement process based on your insurance policy.
Yes, Movelixx is an IBA (Indian Banks' Association) approved logistics provider. We provide all necessary original documents (LR copies, GST bills) required for government and bank employee claim reimbursements.
All heavy lifting is done exclusively by our trained, verified, and permanent in-house staff. We never hire daily-wage laborers from the street, ensuring your property and goods are in safe hands.
Our team comes prepared. We use waterproof stretch-wrapping for your furniture and cartons, and our vehicles are fully enclosed, weather-proof metal containers. Rain will not disrupt your move.
Vehicle Relocation
We use specialized, enclosed auto-carrier trailers equipped with hydraulic ramps and wheel-chocks. This ensures zero engine wear-and-tear and protects the exterior from highway dust and flying debris.
No. Due to strict RTO transport regulations and insurance liabilities, the car must be empty. You cannot pack household goods, boxes, or heavy items inside the car. Only the spare tire and jack are permitted.
Please leave only a quarter (1/4) tank of fuel in the vehicle. This is enough to drive it onto the loading ramp and off at the destination, but minimizes fire risks during long-distance transit.
