Beware of These Common Moving Scams
The "Too Good to Be True" Quote
Scammers offer incredibly low estimates to win your booking. On moving day, they hold your goods hostage and demand double or triple the agreed amount, claiming "excess volume" or "hidden taxes."
Name Impersonation
Fraudsters create fake websites or local listings using names that sound almost identical to "Movelixx" or use our logos illegally to trick you into believing you are dealing with our official team.
Fake Payment Requests
Scammers will call claiming to be our executives and ask you to scan a random QR code or transfer an advance booking amount to a personal saving bank account instead of a corporate account.
The "Fly-by-Night" Operator
These operators take your advance payment, load your household items into an unmarked truck, and disappear completely, switching off their phones and abandoning their fake office addresses.
